Topic: Jesus the way to the father
📌 Behavioural objectives: Pupils should be able to:
▶️explain that Jesus is the only Son of God

📌Building Background /connection to prior knowledge: the pupils has been familiar with the topic
📌Content: Jesus said it in the scripture that he is the only way to the father, he said I’m the way, truth and life. As we all know Jesus is the only way to reach the father
📌Evaluation:▶️Pupils to tell who the way to God is.
Week: 2nd week

Topic: To Be Born Again
📌Behavioural objectives: Pupils should be able to:
▶️explain why a person must be born again
📌Instructional material/Reference material: textbook and charts.
📌Building Background /connection to prior knowledge: Pupils had been taught on Jesus the Way to the father
📌Content:
To be born again means been born of the spirit, denying the flesh.
▶important for been born again
✳️ without been born again we cannot get to heaven
✳️without been born again we cannot know the things of the spirit.
In the scripture Jesus told Nicodemus that without been born again we cannot see the kingdom of God
📌Evaluation: Pupils to find out:
▶️who told Nicodemus that he must be born again.

Topic: To Be Born Again (Baptism)
📌Behavioural objectives: Pupils should be able to:
▶️ explain how a person can be born again.
▶️say ways that you can be born again.

📌Building Background /connection to prior knowledge: Pupils had been taught on (to be born again)
📌Content: why we have to be born again is for us to see the kingdom of God.
✳️ Jesus told Nicodemus again that if we are not born of water and of the spirit (Baptist) we cannot enter into the kingdom of God
✳️ been born again means accepting Jesus as our personal lord and saviour
✳️ Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist at river Jordan
✳️ after accepting Jesus there is a need for us to be Baptized by water and spirit, as Jesus did
📌Evaluation: Pupils to:

▶️ where was Jesus baptized?

Topic: Jesus The True Good Shepherd
📌Behavioural objectives: Jesus The True Good Shepherd

📌Building Background /connection to prior knowledge: Pupils has been taught on (to be born again, baptism)
📌Content: ▶️ a good shepherd is a person that care so much on his sheep
▶️ a good shepherd is he that loves everyone
▶️ Joseph as a typical example, when he was rearing is sheep’s, he lost one out of them then he went to look for it for the sheep not to be killed by wild animals in the forest.
✳️ He protects the sheep’s with everything needed
▶️ Jesus too even care for us and loves us in all aspects

▶️what good did we learn from the story of the lost sheep

📌Evaluation:Pupils to list three qualities of a good shepherd

Topic: Jesus the Good Shepherd
📌Behavioural objectives: Pupils should be able to:
▶️ show how Jesus demonstrated these qualities.
▶️ give instances of Jesus showing goodness to people.

📌Content: Jesus showed this qualities when he was on earth:
▶️ when Jesus was with disciples, he revealed the qualities
▶️ when he was with the little children he shows them love
▶️ when he was in the same place where the harlot want to be stoned, he shows love and caring
✳️ ways of helping various people wherever we meet ourselves :
▶️ showing love to people in times of need
▶️ be honest with everybody
▶️ be kind to mankind

▶️ say why or how Jesus showed His goodness to people.

Topic:Jesus the Bread of Life
📌Behavioural objectives: Pupils should be able to:
▶️ give the scripture meaning of bread of life.
▶️ explain what Jesus meant by referring to himself as “Bread of life”.

📌Content: Bread of life means everlasting life.
▶when Jesus was on earth he refer himself to the bread of life.
✳ He was the son of God.
✳ He was sent from God.
▶DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BREAD OF LIFE AND PHYSICAL BREAD
✳the physical bread only give the body energy, and sustain the body for a period of time. While, the bread of life sustained the body for ever till eternity
📌Evaluation: Pupils to:
▶ explain the meaning of the term “bread of life”.
▶ state the difference between the bread of life and physical bread we eat.
